Well, Sarah must be back on the job, because the universe is beginning to right itself.
US Scientists have rallied to the cause against Pluto’s demotion. It has a chance at retaining its planetary status, yet. It seems however, that there may be an ulterior motive to the seemingly altruistic move. The definition of planet that has threatened Pluto, if interpreted strictly, demotes our own home planet as well.
Apparently, Astronomers are more familiar with the laws of the universe than the laws of unintended consequences.

That’s ridiculous! We want MORE planets, not fewer. I’m all for messing up kids’ science fair projects…evil grin. One would think that if Pluto had been around for as long as it has, with a fairly stable trajectory they’d leave it alone. What do they have to gain by loping it off the list? I say take your mits off my Pluto and all hail Xena and her buddies…rofl.
Ya know…being one who excelled in the life sciences( biology, genetics etc) I would love to fin dout if….we could go back to tests wetook ..like 30 years ago and get the grades corrected if we had no idea as to the order of hte planets…or had pluto in there…
