Last week was a whirlwind. Â Let’s see: Trip to DC and back – Very successful. Â Happy client. Â Happy boss. Â It won’t last, but for now, all is right with the business world. Playing catch up – Success of aforementioned trip is somewhat dimmed by pile of work on desk upon return. Â Happy client. Â Happy boss. […]

I have been remiss with a tag – I have been “it” and I have not been fulfilling my role as the chaser. Â Veronica of “Toddled Dredge“, whose writing I can only aspire to, tagged me in a seven random things meme. Â And I am only happy to oblige, since my life is about as […]

I couldn’t get a good picture of it glowing in the dark, but here it is in plain, old, daylight: Â It’s a Christmas gift for my nephew and, oh, so Christmas-y, don’t you think? Â Right in with the theme of the season. Â I asked his mom (my sister, Jen) his favorite colors, and she […]

My husband has added black fingernails to his new moustacheless, green skin, black tooth look. Â Oh yeah. Â Just keeps getting better. But at least his feet will look good: I finished the first sock in the pair I am knitting him. Â No knitting these babies out of scrap yarn – in fact, I couldn’t even […]

My husband came home from dress rehearsal last night, not only sans moustache, but green. Â All. Over. Green. But I will never say that it can’t get even worse, because, oh, my friends, it does. His teeth? Â Were black. Green. Â Black teeth. Â No moustache. He may need to suffer for his art, but me? Â I […]

I didn’t write this yesterday, because I just reached the point of saturation with all the blogs about voting and candidates and elections. Â As uncharacteristically excited as I have been about this particular election season and the voter turnout, I had a dull ache that had started to settle behind my eyeballs about the whole […]
