"Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them." – Albert Einstein

Yesterday morning I broke my toe in a freak dog-boy-suitcase collision.  And yes, it was on “that leg“.

Thankfully, it is more funny than painful and looks far worse than it feels today – all eggplant purple and slightly swollen.  Couple of weeks, and it will probably be back to normal.

Comparing this to the broken fibula, which felt far worse than it looked, I have to say, all in all, I prefer the fractured toe.

But oh, the irony.  Life really is a series of little tragi-comedies, isn’t it?

    I shouldn’t laugh at you. Really I shouldn’t.

Okay, now I want details on what constitutes a “freak dog-boy-suitcase collision.”

Good lord and butter, woman!! Can you please stop breaking bones??? You are using up more than your fair share of broken bone karma and some little kid who just fell off the monkey bars is escaping broken bone free because of you! 😉 Enough is enough! Stop hoarding the broken bones!!

Oh lord, Bri! That should not have been funny, but I burst into giggles anyway. I broke a toe once, I was barefoot and chasing a boy I thought was cute (when I was in 7th grade, not when I was a squire) and ran into a chunk of concrete.
Man that hurt, but it healed up quickly, so I guess yours will too. BTW, the pictures you posted are glorious, thank you!
