"Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them." – Albert Einstein

This was Harry’s much-anticipated Thomas weekend.  More on that later when I have the patience to upload the pictures.  The weekend was far too cute to NOT have pictures.

While we are waiting, I have something I am almost embarrassed to admit.  It’s so very, well, unfeminist of me.  Practically reactionary.

For a dedicated career-woman, with three degrees and a management position, is it weird that I am almost indecently proud of this:

My sock!

This is my first hand-knitted sock- before I finished grafting the toe, in case you were wondering about the antennae.

I guess the silver lining of having a broken leg is I don’t even need to wait until I am done with the other one to get use out of it.

Apparently you’re a hell of a driver to boot. Or do you have hand controls for your vehicle?

That is a bitchin’ sock! I totally forgot that this was the weekend for Thomas. I can’t wait to see the pictures and hear about the trip.

Lady Catherine made me a pair of socks. She is rightfully very proud of them. It’s a skill.

Oh – And I don’t think she can drive with her leg boogered up. She’s a full-tiem passenger.

And what kind of yarn is that? How’d you get the pattern?! Did you get that at yarn mart?
