Some flowers for you
Hard to tell which is sweeter - the girl or the flowers.
The beautiful girl is Harry’s cousin - my sister Jennifer’s daughter - amongst the lilacs at the Highland Park Lilac Festival in my hometown; over 500 varieties of fragrant spring goodness.
The smell of lilacs always makes me a tiny bit homesick for New York in the spring.
sweet indeed! we never had many lilacs around but one particular birdsong (and i don’t even know what kind of bird it is!) is what triggers my strongest NY memories. Also sun-warmed dirt & tomatoes on the vine.

Walking through the greenmarket in NYC this week, the lilacs were everywhere. The scent is divine.
you’re right…she does look like Cindy-Lou Who…and she is absolutely cute as a button.
