When my niece was about three she went through a long phase when she insisted she couldn’t watch any movies with “bad guys.” She even cried at a Sesame Street movie. We were reduced to “The Three Caballeros”, which is definitely a movie to be missed. It’s an excruciating travelogue through South America involving Donald Duck and some Amazon parrot with a Spanish accent. I think Carmen Miranda’s even in it.

As I was reading I thought, what is she talking about? I’d forgotten that, too! Once had a copier tech go off on some very weird tangent about Mrs. Nesbit in our office. Creepy. Think that’s what happens to those toy mutilators when they grow up? They’re the weird guy in the office?

Our new addiction is a DVD I brought home from work. A new PBS show called Word World. You should check it out for Harry. Puppy now can spell at least a dozen words. And major bonus, I think it’s hilarious! It’s got a really cute quirky sense of humor. Comes on way early, though, 6:00.
