Easter means WAR!

Is it only me that finds it odd that Fighter Planes are considered appropriate content for Easter Baskets?

I think the reference to fighter planes is somewhere in Revelations – metaphorical of course.

At least they’re not strawberry jam filled bunnies… or lickable… well, um, nevermind.

I’m actually not too enthused by the pre-packaged baskets at all, to be honest. Either way, though, no fighter planes, please.

I’m a bit suspicious of the whole holiday to tell you the truth. First there’s my agnosticism to contend with but there’s my general concern that Easter is taking on Christmas-like proportions with gifts expected. What happened to Cadbury eggs and jellybeans? Fighter jets? I’m confused? My kids want to write letters to Easter Bunny requesting Webkinz. Scratching my head here and thinking things just ain’t what they used to be.

Adds a whole new meaning to that “God is My Co-pilot” thing, eh?

Personally I go for the whole motorized assault vehical motif .
