"Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them." – Albert Einstein

And quite disappointed in Starbucks.  They used to offer their wireless hotspots for free.  Now I have to pay T-mobile.  Hmph.  I may have to switch my coffee-provider on the go.  Starbucks had the advantage of being everywhere and recognizable, even if the coffee is not my favorite.  Now I will work a little harder to find local shops who continue to provide the service for free and in return, I will buy many beverages from them.   After all, I have two speeds – highly caffeinated and asleep.  I am serious about my only drug of choice and its delivery system.

But while I get over the temporary glitch in the fabric of my universe, I will leave you with some words of wisdom from one of my very favorite bloggers, Antique Mommy, on the paradoxical cost of Kindness.  Read it.  These are words to live by.

That was obnoxious. I just went to
    http://www.starbucks.com/customer/contact_forms.asp?nav=3e

to advise Starbucks that Krystal and McDonalds both serve coffee, and their wireless is still free.

I am so glad to see that someone else is seeing Starbucks for what it is. I don’t love their coffee either: It’s got no soul. Maybe it’s all those years of drinking chicory.. I dunno. (Do you know that one definition of chicory is: “…used as an adulterant of or substitute for coffee.”? It just sounds cool to say it that way.)

ANYWAY… thanks for the redirect to Antique Mommy’s page. It made me happy. Or as I told her: it’s nice to hear someone else say what your heart shouts to be true.

I hope your day is wonderful. Take care of you. :oD

Well, McDonalds around here does. I don’t know if it’s universal. I note that Starbucks has not responded to my snotty note.
